Once you have assembled all the pieces (music file and cue card, plus optional voice file and full cue sheet), it is time to actually enter the dance.
If you are using the DanceMaster Record Librarian to keep track of your records:
Open the DanceMaster Record Librarian and follow the instructions in the Librarian Help File for entering a new dance.
If you are NOT using the DanceMaster Record Librarian :
| 1. | Open the DanceMaster Player. On the Main Menu, click "Add A New Dance". |
| 2. | On the Dance Details screen, fill in the Name, Choreographer, and other blanks. See the Dance Details Form for.. well... more details. |
| 3. | In the "Cues are..." box, select "In Voice File" if they are, or "In Left / Right Channel" if you used one channel of a stereo recording (minidisk style) (which I hope you didn't do), otherwise choose "Not Recorded". If you did record cues in a voice file, then the "Cues (Voice) Sound File" box will become available. |
| 4. | Attach the Music, Voice, Cue Card and Full Cues files as described here. |
| 6. | Repeat those steps for each dance you want to add (clicking the "Add New Dance" button at the bottom of the Dance Details screen). |
And you're almost done. The only remaining step is to time the cue card (synchronize it with the music) That is done on the Play screen, so you might want to do all your new dances at once, after you have entered them here. You can learn how to do that in Synchronizing Music and Cue Cards
