(The slow way to learn DanceMaster)
| 1. | Using your sound editor (Goldwave, Audacity, etc.) record your music and cues on the computer as MP3 files. Put your music files into C:\DanceMaster\Music Files, and your voice files into C:\DanceMaster\Voice Files. |
| 2. | Enter your cue cards. Save them in C:\DanceMaster\Cue Cards |
| 3. | (Optional) Collect whatever electronic versions of full cue sheets you have (PDF, JPG, HTML, or whatever formats they are in) and save them in C:\DanceMaster\Full Cues. |
| 4. | Open the DanceMaster Player. On the Main Menu, click the "Switch from Sample Database" button. |
| 6. | Click the "Add a New Dance" button on the Main Menu. Fill in the form, assign music, voice, full cue sheet and cue card files, synchronize the voice and music (details available here). |
| 7. | Add more dances using the "Add New Dance" button, then close that form to return to the Main Menu. |
| 8. | Open the Select Screen (Main Menu | Select Dances). Click the "Refresh Dance List" button to see the new dances you just entered. Click on a dance name (NOT the box in front of the name) to select it, then click Play. |
| 9. | On the Play Screen, click the yellow Adjust Cue Card button, then Set Cue Card timing. Time the cue card. |
| 10. | Close the timing window, return to the Play screen, click the green Play button to play the dance. |
