Rhythms Update Form

Reached from: Main Menu -> Lists-> Rhythms Button

This form lets you update the list of rhythms that is available on the Dance Details form. (If you are using the DanceMaster Librarian, the same list is available there.) The program comes with the standard Roundalab rhythms and abbreviations already loaded, but you can add more or change them to suit your taste here.

To add a new Rhythm, click the “Add” button and type the rhythm in the new blank line at the bottom of the list. (The one with the triangle, not the one with the “*”.) Once you do add a new rhythm, the program will get upset if you don’t give it a name. You can’t even delete a new entry without typing something into the name field first.

To change an existing Rhythm or Abbreviation, just type over it. To remove one, select it by clicking on it, then press the “Delete” key on your keyboard.
