One of the basic things that DanceMaster does is to tie together the various pieces that make up a dance - the Cue Card, the Music, the Voice, etc. and present them to you. It also uses information that it knows about the dance to help make it easy to choose and play dances.
As far as DanceMaster is concerned, a dance consists of a collection of information, such as the dance name, choreographer, phase, rhythms, etc, plus links to other files on the disk. These other files contain the cue card, the music and voice files, and the full cue sheet.
Those files have to be present on the disk before you can link to them in DanceMaster, so the best way to set up a new dance is to:
| 4. | Put the full cue sheet in the Full Cues folder |
| 2. | Synchronize the voice and music files |
| 3. | Set the cue card (karaoke) timing |
Don't let that list scare you - it isn't as hard as it looks, and about half of those steps are optional, besides.
