Using the Hot List |

The Hot List is to help you remember to cue certain dances at certain places every so often. To "refresh" them, so the dancers don't forget how to do them. You might want to cue a dance every couple of weeks for a while after teaching it, then once a month or so, then once every few months. You can add a dance to the hot list for the current venue by loading it into the Play screen, then clicking the hot pink "Add To Hot List" button. A window will pop up to ask you how often you want to be reminded to cue this dance here.
Click on some number of weeks, or specify some number of days. Then click OK. When you have gone that many days without playing this dance at this location, the dance will become "Due". ( If you play the dance before it is due, DanceMaster is smart enough to move the due date accordingly.) When the time comes that you have dances due at the current venue, the "Hot List" button at the bottom of the Select screen will turn "hot pink". Clicking that button will open the Hot List screen.
This screen shows all the dances that are "due" at this location. From here you can do 'most anything that you might want to do with the dance - I think you can guess what the buttons do. Except maybe "Show All", which shows you all the dances in the hot list for this venue, whether they are due or not.
